NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF NELSON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law and Town Law, there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Nelson, New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on December 12, 2024, proposed Local Law No. F-2024, titled, “A Local Law Amending The 2011 Town of Nelson Land Use and Development Law Appendix A.” Said Local Law, if enacted, would adjust the coverage percentages allowed in Waterfront Zone, Eaton Brook Reservoir and Waterfront Zone, Tuscarora Lake. The full text of said Local Law is on file at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Nelson Town Office located at 4085 Nelson Road, Cazenovia, New York 13035 for inspection by all interested persons.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on December 12, 2024, the Town Board declared itself to be lead agency and determined that this proposed Local Law is a Type I Action and determined that the action will have no significant adverse impact on the environment and issued a negative declaration for purposes of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Local Law at the Nelson Town Office located at 4085 Nelson Road, Cazenovia, New York 13035 on January 9, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at which time all persons interested will be heard.
